Kanyarat Yenchuchit, 27, who runs the stall in Soi VC, said the man came back less than 10 minutes after her husband told him to leave. She lodged the complaint at 2pm on 4 October over the incident, which she says happened around noon on 3 October.
According to her account, the man — described as dark-skinned, likely of African origin and around 40 — first strolled past before stopping to chat as she grilled squid. The conversation turned inappropriate, she said, with the man allegedly propositioning her. Her husband spotted the exchange, confronted him and ordered him away.

She said the man returned soon after, appeared to draw a weapon and pulled the trigger towards the shop. Four or five loud bangs sent those nearby fleeing indoors. Kanyarat said she could not identify the weapon but believed it was either a replica blank firearm or a cap gun that makes a loud noise using small explosive caps.
